The St. Thomas More Students\u2019 Union is excited to announce that our upcoming STMSU Election process is officially beginning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominations will open at our Annual General Meeting (AGM):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

AGM \u2013 March 5, 2026 @2:30pm<\/strong>
Room STM 3012<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in running for a position, nomination forms will be available at the AGM, distributed through email (vpevents@stmsu.ca<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Positions Available:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 President
\u2022 Vice President of Operations and Finance
\u2022 Vice President of Communications
\u2022 Vice President of Academics
\u2022 Vice President of Events
\u2022 Social Media Admin
\u2022 Two Member of Student Council positions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the key election dates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Nomination Deadline \u2013 March 17 @12:00pm:<\/strong>\u00a0All nomination forms must be submitted by this time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Campaign Period \u2013 March 17\u201324:<\/strong>\u00a0Candidates may begin campaigning following the nomination deadline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Campaign Forum \u2013 March 19 @2:30 (Room STM 160):<\/strong>\u00a0This is an opportunity for candidates to share their goals and for students to ask questions before voting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Voting Period \u2013 March 25 @9:00am to March 26 @4:00pm:<\/strong>\u00a0Students will be able to cast their votes during this time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    We strongly encourage students to get involved by running for a position, joining our meetings, and casting their votes! Your voice plays an important role in shaping the direction of the STMSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
